harish.gsh Posted yesterday at 03:19 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:19 AM Hello team, I have questions with immigration status for my wife. 1) In July 2024, her previous company filed a H1 change of status petition from H4 to H1 and it was approved in July 2024. 2) She had quit the job on September 15th. Then, company has initiated H1b withdrawal on September 20th (Which is prior to October 1st and H1b start date) and the actual termination date was October 2nd. 3) We contacted the attorney from her previous company and they mentioned that they have not received the H1b revocation documents from USCIS yet. Upon checking the USCIS case status for H1 receipt number, we still says case approved. Would this case status change if the H1b is revoked ? 4) That being said, I would like to know what would be her existing immigration status in this case ?
