miya
Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding the nonimmigrant visa interview waiver - Question on the website - "Did your previous visa (except B1/B2, B1, or B2) expire within the last 48 months?" 1. Does the previous visa have to be a stamped visa? 2. Is the new visa application for the same visa class and category as the previous visa? My case—my H1B expired in April 2024, and it was not stamped. I am applying for H4 in September 2024. So, should I select "YES" for the above question as the H1B was valid until April 2024? Attorney_20
The question is when you got your last visa stamp, not when you got your last petition approval. Visa stamps happen outside the U.S. at a consulate or embassy. If the last visa stamp was less than 4 years ago, you should be eligible for dropbox. Quote Link to comment
