Meeku Posted July 17 Report Share Posted July 17 (edited) My cousin was caught shoplifting a popcorn packet and a kid's cap at Costco in Orange County, California. Security stopped her outside, and she panicked and didn't provide her ID. The police arrived, arrested her, and she was released after fingerprinting and taking her picture. She admitted guilt and received a citation for a misdemeanor. Her court hearing is in August. We need to know how to dismiss the charges or drop them before the court date, as she is on an H4 immigrant visa and needs to visit her home country. How long will it take to resolve this situation?
