Unable to retrieve I-94 due to H4 visa mismatch

Hi,

I have passport with no Last Name but the entire name under First Name, however during my H4 visa stamp I was asked to put FNU in First Name and put the full name  in the Last Name column. I am currently in US but due to this mismatch I am unable to retrieve my I-94 record which is required for other purposes. I tried reaching out the CPB via email, they responded saying this has to be corrected on the VISA stamp to match on what is present as per passport. Does anyone have any insights into this issue.
