Kanti Arumilli Posted June 21 Report Share Posted June 21 Respected Sir, I was in United States on two different occasions: 1) F1 visa (2003 - 2005) - dropped out after 3 semesters and moved back to India! 2) H1B visa (2008 - 2017) - I worked for 3 employers i.e 2 H1B transfers. The 1st H1B transfer happened in 2008. The second employer filed for Green Card in 2012 and I have approved I-140. But, in 2016 I have resigned and worked for 3rd employer. Later resigned and moved back to India in January 2017. Based on information found on internet, if I get H1B sponsorship, I can apply and then have new employer apply for GC processing but retain priority date. But my 6 years of H1 were over.
