I also got picked up through the Lottery with my current employer. As the portability of Nonprofit to profit is not feasible, I want to secure my regular H1b. Can we run both in parallel? Attorney_20 Posted May 28 Report Share Posted May 28 You can move from the non profit to the for profit after October 1 (when the cap case begins). Both companies can file for you in this case. You should talk to an immigration attorney about your specific plans. Quote Link to comment
