H4 EAD applied as new EAD application for an existing EAD instead of renewal petition

Please check the issue and question below.

 

Issue: My wife has EAD on H4 from year 2015. Along with her H4 extension petition, my employer attroney has applied H4 EAD as a new petition instead of renewal. H4 has been approved in this month. Since attorney forgot to submit the photoes along with H4-EAD petition, we received RFE on EAD for photoes.

 

Question: Last year, we received existing H4 EAD with a barcode sheet. As per the checklist, we need to send the petition along with the H4 EAD renewal petition whenever we apply renewal (as per EAD renewal checklist). Since we received RFE only for photoes, whether USCIS would consider if I send the existing EAD card scan along with the barcode sheet while responding to the photoes RFE. ?  If they don't consider, we would end up loosing the barcode sheet and we cannot re-apply.

 

           Shall we revoke the EAD and apply a fresh one with a new petition application with the below: 

 

                   1. SSN number on the application;

                    2. H4 EAD card scan

                   3. H4 EAD barcode.
