Jairichi...I asked this to Indian consulate office, they also mentioned 2-3 week time. I am wondering why it takes so much of time when they have to just pass on the same Final No objection statement to DOS.Any idea why? Secondly, after this how much time it takes in reality to get the final wavier in hand?

So it looks like the original passport is not sent in the stage III, just notarized copy till page 5 and last 2 pages are fine. Am I correct?
