Greencard sponsorship for my wife

I will be applying for my citizenship in a week. I will also be marrying someone who is in the US around October 2016. She is on EAD and it might take a long time for her to get the Greencard through her route. I was thinking of sponsoring her once I get my citizenship (not sure if it will be before or after October). But my question is what is the process involved for me to sponsor her? I was reading online and I get mixed opnions. As fasr as I understand I should be first filing an I-130 form. But beyond that I am not clear on the correct steps. Also on an average how long will it take for her to get a GC thru my application process. Thank you.
