ktr944
Hi, I would really appreciate for an advise on my situation: My H1B Petition was approved in 2014. However, on my H1-B visa interview in Oct 2014, I got a 221 requesting for some additional doc pertaining to the client I would be working for. My Employer didn't respond timely and I'm stuck here in India. Question is: 1. If a Company is willing to sponsor my H1-B again, would it come under the 65,000 Cap Limit ? 2. My Husband got H1-B visa, and is planning to travel to US shortly. If I go for H4 interview at a US consulate in India, would my H1-B visa state in Oct 2014 would have any impact on my H4 Interview ? Thanks, KTR Link to comment
JoeF
Because you didn't get an H1 visa and didn't start for the company, you have not been counted for the H1 quota. A new employer would have to file under the quota. Link to comment
rahul412
1. If you have worked on H1 in US then you will be cap exempt 2. No, it should not create any issues. Link to comment
