H1 & H4 Extension - Normal Processing Times @ Vermont Processing Center

Hi,

 

My application for Extension for H1 & H4 was received on Oct 8,2014 per USCIS website.

 

The stage now is showing up as 'Initial Review' & the application is being processed @ Vermont Processing Center.

 

Considering normal processing times, how long does it take for Decision to be arrived @ and updated in the site. Has anyone submitted along this date got a decision so far?

It says 2 months on the uscis website. you can check it yourself here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

My H1B and H4 extension was applied on Sept 3, 2014 under Regular processing. Status as of now is Initial review. As per information i have from my Attorney it may take at least 2 months to get approved.

I am in the same boat. Mine RFE was answered on Aug 19 in premium processing but till date no updates from USCIS :(

There is some delays going on @ Vermont. My case was Aug 24th 2014 still no updates. Status still Initial Review

Based on my experience it takes roughly about 2-3 months before you hear anything from USCIS.

My Case was approved on Nov 18th. Case status updated on 26th in website; received papers on Dec 5th. mine took 75 days to get approval
