chikz
Hello, Previously I was on H1 but it was revoked and made me out of status. But lucky I found company who hired me and did my h1, which got approved too. Question is since I am out of status I need to go for stamping- Would Mumbai consulate be better option or Jamaica. I had my previous H1 stamped in 2014 march which was revoked but stamping was valid till September 30th. Thank you Link to comment
wiweq
You are only need to go to stamping if you are asked to do so. If I94 is attached with I797, no need to go for stamping. If not, they would suggest you the consulate based on your foreign address. Link to comment
jairichi
If your new I797 did not have an I94 you need to exit and enter US with a valid H1B visa and I797. There is no better option as every US consulate is same. Link to comment

Thank you The stamping doesn't depend on the consulate. If you have all the necessary paperwork/docs you need not to worry. Link to comment
