gulatin2
Recently, I have been presented two opportunities with my current company, among which first is vertical advancement from project engineer to a senior project engineer opportunity. Whereas, the second opportunity is more of lateral move with in the company to strategic marketing position. From my personal long term career interests, I am more inclined with the later but unsure of how the immigration process could get affected. Need insights on how a lateral move can affect my green card process - with I-140 already approved through the same employer. Link to comment
itsmeusa
Lateral move would invalidate the terms established in the PERM. You would need to get new PERM filed. However you could port your PD from earlier approved I-140. Link to comment
