abcdpqr10
Hi, My name is sameer . My wife is a Green card Holder & had applied for Naturalization 3 months back She has glitches in her immigration history . She had travelled 2 trips of more than 6 months in the past 6 years due to her education back home in india. Also while in USA she was enrolled in some University Degree Inspite of her providing all the documents along with the N-400 Application, she has been asked to prepare additional documentation which proves that she has not abandon her residency like a) passports b) proof of income or means of support c) rent/mortgage billswhich she has already provided d)bank ,credit & loan statements showing regular transactions e) school records f) letter of explanation if not already provided f) state Issued drivers license or Photo ID card She was a dependent on her father all these 6 years. 1) As she was a dependent on her father , does providing some documents of her father & some of hers , should be ok in her Naturalization interview 2) or Is it good to accompany a Attorney for her Interview . Does the Attorney have the right to speak during the Interview Appreciate a Response. Regards, Sameer Link to comment
itsmeusa
Talk to immi. lawyer and follow his/her direction. Yes, it's ok to take lawyer for the interview. Lawyer can interpret the facts to her and help her form a response. He ca'tn talk on her behalf. He can help / guide her to form a response. He can also interject USCIS officer if officer is going over limit. Link to comment
