Lost Dependent EAD AP

Hi,

I have an active EAD with AP card (EAC) but my spouse EAC was approved but never received in post/mail. I am asked to apply a new EAC for spouse. Issuing a new EAC takes 3 months. While this EAC application is pending, can the primary switch job? If primary switches job, it will result in wife's H4 cancelled.

 

Again, would like to know: Can Primary switch job while dependent EAD AP is in progress? H4 will be cancelled due to primary switch on EAD status.
