First of all , Thanks to all for sharing thoughts and interview experiences and document listings.

Now I believe its my part to share my experience.

I gathered all the documents possible for the interview.

My interview is at 10AM. The initial security did not let you in before 9:45AM.

1st step (ground floor):

They asked for DS-160, Passport and I -797 to hand them, they verified and wrote something on ds-160 and handed back to me with a rubber band tied to 3 documents. They asked me to unseal all the sealed envelopes if I had any . Then they let me in to  staircase to 1st level

2nd Step (1st Floor):

Security check similar to the one we have in airport where all the belongings belt, watches are put in the tray and you will be pass through some scanner. After done they asked to follow to WINDOW "A" which is on the left side of the waiting room

3rd Step (1st Floor Window - A):

At this window the teller would asked for the same 3 documents (passport, Ds-160 and 797) and hand me a number and asked me to wait for my number to be called on the screen.

4th Step (1st Floor - Window 1) :

Once my number popped up on the screen. I proceeded to this window to receive the 3 documents that I gave in window A and here teller asked me for finger prints 10 prints. Now i am  set for the main interview on 20th floor.

5th Step (20th Floor - Waiting Room):

security escorted me to 20th floor in the elevator. There I waited for couple of minutes for my number to be called on the screen. Mine was on counter -6 . So I proceeded.

Hi,

I also had my visa interview on 6th Jan at VC. Visa got approved. But I cant see any change in status till now. I am checking  http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/p website.

There is no change there. When can I expect the status change? When can I collect my passport?

Thanks

I am waiting for the response. I was told that the update would be in couple of days.
