mrcoolbuddy
Hi All,I was on L1 visa till Mar 2013 and currently in India. I have got my H1B stamping last week with a new employer. I would like to sponsor visitor visa for my parents based on my H1B. I may travel on H1B in 2 months from now and would like to take my parents with me after processing their visitor visa.I do not have US paystubs for last 2 months, will this be a hurdle for my parents' visitor visa? Also Do I need to have employment letter from new employer? I can request for it, but they may give with future date as I am not on their board yet. Will this be a problem. Can you please guide if I can sponsor their visitor visas now or I can only do after I go back to US on H1B?Please advise. Thanks,Sundeep Link to comment
omshiv
There is no concept of sponsorship for Visitor's visa...your parents should handle this themselves. Basically the plot is they should be able to convince the VO that they would return back to their home country by showing ties. Link to comment
t75
They need to be able to explain why they need to visit you now. Link to comment
