lakal05
Hello, I was H-1B before but due to a layoff, I got converted to H-4. I'm currently in India and another company is processing my H-1 B. I got my H-4 stamped. Now my question is: 1. If my H-1B is approved while I'm still in India. Can I still go back to USA on my H-4 Visa and start working? Link to comment
redgreenbluee
please consult a lawyer. no, you will need to get H1 visa stamp and enter on H1 to start working on your return to US. if you enter on H4, you will need COS to H1 before you can start working.
