HELPVISA_1 Posted April 4, 2013 Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 Hi Friends, I am presently on my H1B visa. It will expire in Oct 2013. My wife's dependent VISA is still not filed. I am planning to file for my wife's dependent VISA. My query is: 1. If I file for my extension before my wife's dependent VISA is filed, will she be able to go for her stamping? Should i file for her dependent VISA first or my extension? 2. If my wife has her dependent VISA and if she is travelling to US for the first time after my extension is approved, will she have to go for her VISA stamping again??? TIA Link to comment
