Lost Old Passport but Visa in New Passport will that be issue for stamping

Dear Friends,

I have my valid visa on new passport which is Additinal Booklet to my Old passport.

While in Singapore I have misplaced/Lost it and I have filed complaint with Singapore Police.

All Visas are on my New Passport and later I went for stamping to US embassy with my new passport (addl. booklet).

They never asked for my Old passport neither in the embassy nor at the Port of Entry .

I still have the copy of registered complaint with Singapore Police and copies of my Old passport.

Now again I have to go for stamping in Chennai, India and it has been clearly mentioned to bring all the passports current and Old and it has been mentioned as

"Applications without all of these items will not be accepted."

Please suggest me what can be done. I am in big fix looking at this statement.

Hi

As long as you have the Old Passport copies and Police Compliant copy and you submit in person (where you can explain in detail, if required), you should be fine

Also check whether you can/need to file a Police compliant in Chennai referring to the Singapore complaint. It will also support you.
