H1B visa stamping in Taiwan

Hi,

I am working in a firm in USA and need to travel to Taiwan on a business trip. I have an expired H1B visa but have a valid renewal notice (I797A). So, i need to go for my H1B visa interview in Taipei.

Does anyone have any experience about H1B visa interview/ stamping in Taiwan?

If i carry all my documents, including letters from my employer about the reason for my Taiwanese visit, can i still get pulled in for a security check? If yes, how many days do i have to remain in Taiwan?

Any additional tips will be useful too.
