H1B VISA appointment date @ Mumbai for Dec-2012

Hello,

Any one know, what are the H1B VISA appointments dates are available in Dec-2012.

My H1B has approved but I don't have I-129 on my hand yet, and without DS-160 form I am not able to check available dates in Dec-2012.

Please let me know, if any one has idea about appointments date.

Guyz, Appointments are open randomly in ustraveldocs.com/in. So, I suggest you to just start DS 160 so that you will have Application ID which you use that ID as DS 160 Confirmation # in ustraveldocs.com when scheduling appointment. So that you no need to wait for completing and submitting DS 160 to schedule appointment.

Once you get DS 160 Application ID then try to navigate in ustraveldocs.com/in with necessary so that you can go for payment section and complete the payment process. From there you will be able to check dates. Hope this info help!! Good Luck!

There is nothing time frame for Mumbai or any other consulate. It is always safe to submit as soon as possible once you complete filling all the information.

Do I need to schedule both appointment (1) for VISA interview at Consulate (2) at OFC for fingerprints & photo ?

I am in US currently and moved from F1 --> to H1B status.

So still both appointments required in my case? or only one (for VISA interview at Consulate) will be fine?

@nipgp: Yes, still you have to make two appointments. We don't have choice in this, the new system prompts us for two appointments.

If so please respond. I am not seeing any available dates after November 27th. I have booked my tickets and already submitted a vacation request. I still dont know if I will be able to get appointment in time or not.

Better to save DS160 with the consulate intended to go for interview. BTW you can change DS160 consulate place but not after saving it.

Did any one get a chance to book visa interview date for 2nd/3rd/4th week of december 2012 at mumbai consulate? Visa type - H1b. I have been seeing dates till 7th December and today it has directly jumped to Jan 2013. I am worried. I dont know when did I miss the rest of the December weeks.

I just booked my appointment for Dec 21st at Mumbai consulate. OFC dates are available from Dec 6th onwards to 21st Dec.

Only last week of Dec hasn't opened up.( 22nd Dec onwards)
