221g PIMS processing at Vancouver

Hi,

I had my interview today at Vancouver and the visa officer said told me that they can't find my petition electronically. So, they need 3-5 business days to complete the PIMS verification. As of now, my visa hasn't been approved yet.

What are the chances of visa approval upon PIMS verification ? How long does it usually take to complete at Vancouver ?

Would you let me know when your 797 was approved? Mine is approved on recently on 19th Oct and going for visa on 26th Nov. So want to know If I might have same problem.

I had my interview on Oct15,and I had the same issue reg. PIMS. I got my passport back on Oct18th,

I had a similar experience. My interview was on October 9th and i got an email from Loomis on October 12th evening around 7pm that my passport was with them. I picked up the passport on October 15th.

DId you receive 221g form or did the Visa officer just say that your record is not available in PIMS and it will take them 3-5 days to get that info?

I did not get any 221g form. He wrote 221g on a slip, but did not give it to me and he took my passport,i-797 original.
