Members of the forum: Are job seekers on EAD (leading to a green card), and with no existing H-1B, considered (by employers) equivalent to job seekers with a green card, per your experience? Since one can also have an EAD based on OPT, how to mention this correctly on one's CV to make sure that this is an EAD that can be renewed as long as the GC takes to arrive, and the employer does not need to sponsor any time limited work visa? Thanks a lot for your inputs.

No employer should discriminate based on a temporary work permit, which is what your EAD is. But it is common practice for employers to say we need green card only applicants. They are actually breaking the law by saying that. They site uncertainty in your status as a reason why they want a permanent residency.
