Received I-140 Copy from USCIS using FOIA

Hi All,

Just FYI . I filed a FOIA with USCIS to retrieve copy of I-140 approval notice (I-797).

Yesterday I received a CD with a single page PDF of the approval notice

I didn't even have the receipt number when I filed this request . I gave as much information as possible on the FOIA form.

Inshort file FOIA and get your I-140 :-)

7 months .. I was placed on Track one (Simple Requests)

i did apply for FOIA for I-140 but i see my case status as "Withheld pursuant to (b)(6)"

I did search and find that its clear invasion of privacy.

I agree, i will not get documents which belong to someone else. But i am wondering if i can get something about my I-140.

Did you also got ur such status?

I see many cases are in this status. I would 80% of total. Does this mean all those cases get nothing?

could you please provide me the list of details that you provided while filing FOIA with USCIS.

my employer is not providing me the 140 copy or its receipt number.
