bhanu
I have created this thread mainly to collect all the questions asked by VO to prove Employer - Employee relationship...Can every one pitch in to write questions only related to the topic of the thread from their previous visa experience ? cdeepak76
Here is my case: I came to India in May 2011. Interview was held in May 19, Got 221g , PP was returned in Jun unstampted , visa refused in Jul (got an email and a letter), DOS forwarded the petition to USCIS to review it in Jul. Till date, no status. Now here are few questin which I feel very important to address: 1. Where are you working? (location) - Ans: Client Location 2. Whom you are reporting? Ans: Cleint manager 3. Whom you are submitting the timesheet? Ans: Vendor, and my company 4. Who is assigning you day to day work? Ans: End client 5. How many vendors are there? And: One Other question were: 1. Where is your family? (I went alone, my wife and son got visa stamped before me) 2. What is the citizenship of your son? Ans: One is Indian, one is US citizen 3. Show me the tax returns of your company. (I was not having them and VO did not insisted me to show them) 4. Show me the LCA, client letter, etc. Ans: I had them and showed all of them. Prepare in advance and talk to your attroney and company HR for the proper answer. I tried to be honest and here I am. So better find a direct client or work should be with-in company if possible to avoid such situation. Link to comment
arvigiri
Your answers to questions 1 and 4 are incorrect. It is always to be your employer whom you report to and assigns day to day work to you. Anybody disagree with this? Link to comment
bhanu
Thanks deepak for posting your experience ...Did you try to change your employer and attend the interview again ? I think waiting for more than six months would not solve your problem.. Link to comment
dream16
Employer assigns work, i report to Employer But how about this: USCIS sends email to client asking about who he reports to? Client says: me ??? Then....Rejection ..........? Link to comment
go_pal
@ arvigiri I was asked the same question- Who is assigning you day to day work? I said my employer. The VO said why not your client manager and was issued 221g at the end. Link to comment
dream16
I found the right answer to this question: BE HONEST, don't lie ===> because in cross verifications, your lies will be exposed. If it's your client for EVERYDAY duties, say it PROUDLY. Link to comment
