todinsan
Is it okay to have around 5 days of gap between the jobs while transferring H1B to a differnt company? This happened to me couple of times. I was transferring from company A to company B. I started in company B only after 4-5 days of terminating at A. I am now applying for a new labor application and not sure if this fine and legal to note these now? Please let me know if any one is aware of this. Thanks. Link to comment
Chitown01
It shouldn't be a problem, let say for example your new company is based out in a different geographical location you will need time to relocate and all and what if there is sat sun in between. dont think too much... as long as since you started working and you are getting paid you should be fine Link to comment
JoeF
Technically, you are out of status as soon as you are laid off or resign from an H1 job. USCIS usually is ok with a few days in between, but there is no guarantee. Link to comment
