Attorney_10
The U.S. consulates in India are heavily scrutinizing H1B visa applicants in the IT industry. It is very important to take a full copy of the H1B petition, along with all supporting documentation, to the interview. In addition, the visa applicant must be able to establish a bona fide employer-employee relationship at the interview. Visa applications are often referred to administrative processing and delays of weeks or months is not uncommon. Please schedule a consultation with a qualified immigration attorney to discuss the specific issues relating to your case and the best way to prepare for your visa interview. Link to comment
Chitown01
As long as your employer is Not a Shady consultant it shouldn't be a problem. Wait depends on case to case basis. Link to comment
