485 filinf error for dependent

my labor was eb3 but i140 got approved by mistake under eb3. when 485 was filed, my sons application got rejected because the employer sent the wrong check ( I still doubt it was on purpose so he can hold me back).

140 corrected was applied in Nov and it got approved now. My question is, can I open USCIS and open SR to adjust the 485 ? or what should b my next step? My sons 485 just now sent since EB2 date is current….but should I wait till my sons 485 is filed? If I get GC before that will he be out of status ?
