Name Change In Passport

Hi,

I came to USA as a student and have started working. I got married 3 years ago and would like change my last name to that of my Husband's. I need to get my Passport renewed as it is expiring and would like to use this opportunity to get my name changed. But my question is, my SSN, work visa and Masters degree are all on my maiden name. So if I change my name in the passport will these be effected? If so, how will I be effected? I would really appreciate it if somebody could throw some light on this issue for me.
