jackiechan Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 I had a COS from H4 to F1 within US. Hence, I dont have a valid F1 stamp in my passport. Recently, my husband and myself got our EAD approved with advance parole. I have received a fellowship to travel to Brazil this summer.I dont have the time to go to India (home country) for any visa procedures 1. Do I need to get anything stamped in the US consulate in Brazil?? Since I have the advance parole with EAD, can I just use that? Will there be any issues at US POE?? 2. Can I assume since EAD is my latest visa status, my F1 is not valid anymore?? Whats my current visa status?? Link to comment
