H1B renewal stamping in mexico.. Less amount on W2

I am planning to goto mexico for H1B renewal stamping.. I took 3 months vacation last year and went to my home country and I did not get paid for that period.. hence the W2 is reflecting less amount compared to the amount showed in LCA..

so If I goto VISA renewal stamping in mexico now will there be any chances of rejecting VISA or giving 221g?

How can I defend my case in the interview?

Can I show POE entry dates as proof of staying outside US? OR Should I wait until next year to go for stamping..?
