Toronto H1B Stamping questions

I have two questions:

1) Can I (H1B) and my wife (H4) bring our daughter (infant, US citizen) with us in the US Consulate in Toronto with us at the time of our visa interviews?

2) How long ago do I have to book the visa apointment in Toronto? I have heard they aren't available and you have to sit early morning to find an open slot even if you want it 4-6 weeks down the road?

Once you submit DS-160, call them at 1-877-341-2441 for interview date.
