As I am currently in India would like to know the following 1) Can I have further Processing Initiated from India? 2) If yes what would be the approximate time that may take for approval? JoeF Posted August 2, 2021 Report Share Posted August 2, 2021 Consular Processing requires that you have a recent job offer from the original employer who filed the I-140. You would ha e to file an I-824 to initiate CP, and eventually you'd get an invitation to the consulate where you have to show the notarized job offer letter from the employer who filed the I-140.
