Kumaran R Posted June 17, 2021 Report Share Posted June 17, 2021 I am currently in the USA & my L1B has expired in March 2021 & my employer filled an extension in April 2021 and received RFE with deadline to respond by August 20. Meanwhile, i have my H1B petition approved for the cap year 2021 for counselor processing. But, with the current state of the consulates in India (Chennai the closest one for my hometown) not open for regular appointments, so I dont want to travel to India. Whats is the alternate option to activate my H1B inside the USA considering the August deadline to respond to my L1B RFE. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
