ny4ny
Hi, I am seeing a few biometrics appointments trickling in for folks who filed their AOS app in Oct 2020. I have some travel coming up and there is a good chance I will be outside the country when my biometrics appointment is scheduled. I also learnt of a requirement that one needs to be in the country 14-days prior to the appointment date to conform to the 14-day quarantine requirement. Has someone been successful in rescheduling their appointment recently? I am aware of the procedure one needs to follow on this page: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/preparing-for-your-biometric-services-appointment How long will my appointment get pushed if I reschedule? I called the USCIS customer service and they said it will be 30-60 days. Can someone who has actually done this recently confirm or deny this is indeed the case? I am at the point where I might have to cancel my travel if I can't find satisfactory answers Quote Link to comment
