bhallan Posted February 5, 2021 Report Share Posted February 5, 2021 I have an question in line to reset of the clock. I am currently on an L1-A visa and almost completed 5 years . 1. My first question here is that if I convert myself to go on a student visa and stay with that status for an year does that would reset or pause my US clock . or it will still be counted for an continuous stay. 2. I am planning to Apply for an H1 visa this session in case it gets picked up can i apply for the GC immediately with the help of the employer. would highly appreciate on the directions here.
