MichaelIcu Posted January 13, 2021 Report Share Posted January 13, 2021 (edited) Lawyers filed I-485 and I-140 downgrade in Mid Oct 2020. Recieved Receipts for both in early Dec 2020. Other applicants from my work that applied have all recieved their biometrics appointment schedule letter in Mid Dec 2020. As of Mid Jan 2021, I have not received and biometrics letters. Any idea what the delay can be? USCIS does not provide specifics. One day they told me it may be waived, another day they tell me it's not waived but not on the wait list to be scheduled. I've only provided biometrics once at the airport a few years back when I returned from an out of country trip. Not sure if they can use that to waive the biometrics requirements?
