rolling_thunder
Hi Team, My case might seem a lil peculiar, however not un-realistic. My I-140 is approved with a priority date of Feb2012 (Eb2), i have been in the US since 18 years now and have been getting H1B extension based on my I140 approval. My question here is: I got arrested for a domestic violence in 2019 where i had to plead guilty for damage to personal property (had run into a half broken chair which eventually broke one of its leg) while having argument at home. I did not have any issue in getting my H1B renewed however i have a question about getting H1B stamped. Currently filed for Divorce as well. 1) Would I have issues getting H1B stamped at consulates when opened? 2) Can i go to Mexico or Canada and get it stamped? 3) Would i be eligible only for a Dropbox because i did not change any employer since my last stamping in 2018? If dropbox, would i have any issues because of the above mentioned Criminal case I had in the past? Quote Link to comment
