rg047 Posted November 30, 2020 Report Share Posted November 30, 2020 Hello, My initial H-1B was approved in 2019 and I have received my I-797A approval notice and during the pandemic 2 amendments were applied one for reduced work hours and the other for wage reduction. Both of them were approved but the latter one was I-797B. My employer says this was a mistake by the USCIS officer as he did not consider my underlying H-1B and I was approved without I-94 or change of status. My employer is filing for an appeal for this.
