is it possible to edit I539 after submission ?

I submitted I539 online for my mother-in-law B2 status extension on May 25th. I kept that extension is needed till Aug 04th 2020 as her rescheduled Qatar flight moved to Aug 02 2020. Now India is not allowing flights till Aug 31 2020. Is there a way we can change the extension end date till Sep 04th 2020 (which is under 6month extension period)?

Or is it legal to stay in USA after Aug 04th 2020 while case is processing even though the extension end date is Aug 04th 2020?

That way, I dont need to file a new I539 if date correction is allowed.

It can't be changed. She would have to file a new I-539.
