Nitaa
Hi, my mom visited me in May 2019 and stayed till September 2019. She again traveled to USA in November 2019. She initially intended to leave in Feb 2020 as she stayed around 4.5 months earlier in her last visit. But at the arrival, the immigration officer stamped for another six months starting from Nov 2019 to May 2020. So my mom extended her stay. Now with this CoronaVirus travel restriction, can I extend her stay if required? How will the immigration look at this situation as she will be in USA for more than 6 months from May 2019. Will this cause any issues in the future? Any insights on this will be very helpful. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
User099
What other option do you have other than to apply for an extension currently with all the travel restrictions? Apply for the extension but leave once things are back to normal and don't wait for 6 months. Quote Link to comment
