P. S. Posted February 20, 2020 Report Share Posted February 20, 2020 Hi, My H1B extension (along with my Dependent's H4 Extensions) have been applied back in September 2019 by my employer. Currently My case is in RFE and I am preparing for replying to the RFE. However for my wife the Passport that has been used while applying (during Sept 2019) is going to expire in March and I have received a renewed passport for her from embassy. So want to update the existing petition (I -539) with the renewed passport information. Can anyone suggest what could be done for this? My employer does not support any dependent cases after the submission to USCIS... Thank You. Quote Link to comment
User099 Posted February 21, 2020 Report Share Posted February 21, 2020 Check with an attorney to see if you need to update the Passport information or if USCIS will issue a RFE for expired passport and you can reply to it with the new passport details. Or Just submit a new I539 with new passport details and receipt notices for H1 and H4. Quote Link to comment
