Momi Posted January 6, 2020 Report Share Posted January 6, 2020 My mother who is a green card holder had sponsored my then unmarried sister, National processing center sent us a message to start paying fees and uploading documents but my sister got married last year. What are our options? If we update her status to married, will our case drop? What if my mother get her citizenship, can this case be transferred over to married category? Or do we have to apply all over again? From what I heard that if we don't start the processing of this case, it will be considered abandoned after a year? Quote Link to comment
