hi,

My L2 status will expire in June (7 year expiration). I am a freshman in college.  My father's I-140 has been approved - waiting for date to be current.  I have been told to go to India to apply for F1 visa.  Have been living in US past 6 years.  Reading online it seems that my F1 may get rejected - since i can't show ties to India.  Should I attempt it? Any advice will be appreciated.
