ashwini2222
PLEASE HELP, IN A CRITICAL SITUATION. I HAVE A VALID H4 STAMPED ON MY OLD PASSPORT TILL 2022 JAN.BUT THAT WAS ON MY HUSBANDS PREVIOUS JOB. HUSBAND CHANGED HIS JOB AND HAS APPROVED PETITION TILL SAME DATE JAN 2022. I DID NOT APPLY FOR H4 BECAUSE I ALREADY HAD STAMPING AND I94 WHICH I DID LAST YEAR. THAT IS WHAT ATTORNEY SAID IS NOT REQUIRED. NOW I CAME TO INDIA WITH MY US BORN DAUGHTER OF 14 MONTHS AND NOW I WAS ABOUT TO GET STAMPED AND GET BACK IN JAN. IN THE MEANTIME MY HUSBAND IS SICK AND GOT JAUNDICE AND I NEED TO TRAVEL BACK AS SOON AS I GET TICKET. I HAVE HIS NEW I797 COPY,W2,PAYSLIPS COPY. AM I STILL GOOD TO TRAVEL WITHOUT A NEW STAMPING? SOME ONE SAID ITS OK. BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY ACCESS TO ATTORNEY HERE AND I DO NOT KNOW.I AM VERY MUCH HELPLESS. PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH RIGHT SUGGESTION. IN A DEEP MENTAL TRAUMA. REGARDS, ASHWINI Quote Link to comment
NotAnAttorney
Yes. As you got valid visa stamping until an 2022 you are good to travel. But if you have different opinion or doubt, you better talk to an attorney at Murthy firm or anyone of your choice. Quote Link to comment
User099
I am reading this 2nd time. From what you said above you are good to travel. But if you want to be 101% sure, talk to an attorney and have them review your case. Murthy law firm has an office in India too. Most of the times we generally tend to miss minute details when we are in high stress environments. Quote Link to comment
