ciqcts Posted October 20, 2019 Report Share Posted October 20, 2019 HI I have H1B Transfer approved with 3 yrs validity valid from OCT 15 this year.I am waiting to join in 2 weeks(2 wks notice to my current company) . Mean while my current employer Extn is denied before i submit my resignation. I have my i94 valid till Nov 10. My planned join date to new company is Nov 4th. do i need to ask the company to prepone my join date? Do i need to worry about anything to join new company ? Quote Link to comment
User099 Posted October 23, 2019 Report Share Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) I know you mentioned you I94 is vaild till Nov 10th. But is your Current I797 valid till 10/31 or 11/10? Generally there is a 10 day buffer to I-94. You should be fine to start on Nov4th, but dont go beyond that. Edited October 23, 2019 by User099 Quote Link to comment
