I have a query regarding this. There is a difference in the spelling of her parents' name in her birth certificate and passport. Mother's name: Name in Birth Certificate: Shanta Chakrabarty Name in Passport: Santa Chakraborty I would like to know what would be more appropriate- to use the spelling as mentioned in the birth certificate or the passport. I would appreciate any suggestions. PS: We already have an affidavit which says that the names are one and the same and it is just a variation in spelling.
