SJPP
Need advice on the below: I have been working on H4EAD and my EAD ends in Jan 2020. My company applied for H1B this year and it got approved. (COS was not filed and I will have to go to India to get it stamped to activate H1) My lawyer recommends that I file for H4 EAD extension rather than moving to H1B so I can continue working on H4 EAD and save the H1B years. I would like to know: 1) If staying on H4 EAD even makes sense when I have H1B in hand right now? 2) Even if I do continue on H4EAD and end up going after a year or later to stamp H1B, will I have problems while stamping since I waited that long?
