kishor222 Posted June 10, 2019 Report Share Posted June 10, 2019 I filed my H1B extension I129 petition for a nonimmigrant worker on 7 march 2019 in regular processing & upgraded it on 7 may 2019 in premium processing. After 1 month there is no reply from USICS. Also, my Visa was expired on 18 May 2019. An attorney contacted the premium processing unit regarding the pending extension. The officer informed them that the case is currently undergoing security checks. The case will be adjudicated as soon as the security checks are complete. How long does security check take for USCIS?
